Meditation for Self Kindness and Love

Grab your meditation pillow, some candles, a cup of hot tea or anything else that brings you peace, to enhance your Meditation.  Use this Meditation script for more Self Kindness and Love.........

Meditation for Self Kindness and Love
Sit in a comfortable position.  Allow your body to become still, bring attention to the fact that you are alive and breathing. Become aware of your breath as it comes into your body and as it leaves.  Notice how your stomach expands and flattens with each breath.  Don’t try to control your breathing, simply notice it and let it be. Notice how you are feeling in that moment of stillness breathing in life.  Be in the moment.  Don’t try to do anything, think anything, imagine anything, simply BE.  Continue breathing in and breathing out. If thoughts do happen to arise, simply acknowledge that it is a thought and let them go, returning to your breathing.
Now that we are in the state of relaxation, breathing and gratitude for life…..bring to mind someone for whom you have the deep feeling of love for.  See that person in your mind, sense this person near you.  Notice how your feelings sore inside of you.  You may experience a smile or a warming sensation within your chest.  Focus on their presence.  Whatever feelings arise, allow them to happen.  Feel the moment..
Now I want you to release this person from your mind, but let those feeling you have linger. Now bring yourself into your mind.  Now see if you can feel that same loving kindness for yourself. Say these words to yourself, let the words become YOUR words…..

I am happy
I am healthy
I am beautiful

I love myself

Notice the sensations and feelings that arise within you. Sit with those feelings and meditate on them for a few moments.  When you are ready, allow yourself to slowly come back to the room.  Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes and become more aware of the space around.
