I have once again, recommitted myself to the Keto Lifestyle. I don't do this because I am trying the next crazy diet fad in desperation to lose weight. Rather, I follow the keto diet because I did some biohacking and discovered this is the best eating style for my body. I have struggled in some areas. I miss certain foods and get tempted to go off track. One of the major foods I have had problems with is my morning coffee. I am a lover of super sweet Starbucks drinks. I struggled for a long time until I found some KETO CREAMER I could love and satistify my cravings. Another food I miss greatly are the crunchy ones such as crackers and chips. Again, I discovered a cracker I could love and a chip that I actually crave now. Yet another area is potatoes. It isn't so much that I love potatoes, my son loves them. So I am cooking potatoes in every way frequently. Let's be honest here, I don't think it is fair that I have to cook him something and not be able to enjoy as well. I did some research. LOL....... Really I just sat on pinterest looking at tasty recipes. I finally decided to try some Parsnip Fries. I for sure need to add more veggies into my day. Let me stop right here and make a PSA. AFTER, I cooked and ate the Parsnip Fries, I discovered that they have approx. 23 g of Carbs (17 net) in them per cup (info from Calorie King). So, this is NOT strict Keto food. However, depending on your daily macros, it still could fit into your lifestyle and I feel in moderation they are keto friendly. They are Paleo, 21 Day Fix, Whole 30, and Weight Watchers friendly. Because I am obessed with my Air Fryer, I used that to create this recipe. When I made these, I sort of experiemented with flavors. I added several things in and topped of with Flavor God seasoning because, well Flavor God is great on everything (Keto, Paleo and Whole 30 friendly). LOL. Try out the recipe and experiment with the seasonings to find something you enjoy. (recipe card below) For those of you who prefer video instructions......... Do you want more healthy recipes?
